we all are to varying degrees,

so,

what I'm really suggesting is making an extra effort to be even "more" aware, awake, and yes, alert.

Good morning, how lucky we are to be alive in this world. Do you know your own name? Of course you do. His or her name, their name? Your parents? Of course you do. And do you know the name of those who carried the DNA for your parents? Your grandparents? Maybe you do. The point of this discussion is to see that we have some idea of where we have come from, but not really. We think in terms of generations of life. We spoke of three. Ourselves, our parents, our grandparents. How many more satisfy your own recollection or capability to understand? Some people have very long traditions. But most of us are lost in the hubbub of just making it by, just living, just having a life. So a few of us can trace our lives back hundreds of years, dozens of generations of one's own history. Those that carried our DNA as we do today. It is a sobering thought, perspective widened, than just thinking about oneself getting up and making coffee or going to the bathroom or one's rituals.

Let us be calling together all of creation, coming and gathering here with us beyond each of our horizons, allowing ourselves to expand and feel, perceive. All that is be present. Vasty envelopes us each, in one's mind, feeling the presence of this vastness is a subtle, sublime resonance in one's auditory nerves, a potential of sound of being, of the energy of creation. It is everywhere. It is in the molecules of air, water, food we consume, breathe, drink, and eat. It is our life everything. Yes, it is a component of our blood. Oxygenated blood, carbon dioxide laden blood. It is this way. The more that one is mindfully thinking, meditating about themselves and our environment, the more responsible we can imagine ourselves becoming. This is a path for self-improvement.

Let this be a herald unto each of us as individuals. Prosper through the continuation of one's practice. No matter what. No matter which way the world confronts us, how our opportunities are received, how we respond to every moment's new acquisition of awareness. It is a process of moments. Everything. Being present in one's own body, feeling one's skin and beneath one's skin, this region of activity, our largest organ. What's going on? You're feeling right. You have a sense of sensitivity here. We all do, a common element, something we share. We can feel where we are touching something, perhaps a seat or a chair, or the floor, or the air itself. Being this way, alert to this is our goal. Beneath the presence of this awareness, one finds in the interior of one's skin, underneath one's skin, there is vascular activity. There is a confluence of arteries, veins, and capillaries transversing the interior underneath one's skin. And because of this, because all of our cells are being nurtured, thirty-seven trillion cells nurtured moment by moment, we feel a pulse within our skin, in our chest, in our hands, if we are joining them together in some way, shape, or form, mine are flat pressed against each other with some degree of pressure, not too much. Relax, feeling the warmth, the pulse, the moisture, the ambiance, the energy of this Homo sapien creature. Billions of years in the making, we are all bundles of miracles. The processes involve breathing, pulsing, the heat being emanated from our chest cavity, through our arteries and veins. Through the energy we feel ourselves vibrating with, shimmering, one's mind feeling the potential of energy. In some connection to the divine. What is your connection? It is everywhere and everything, it is every single cell. And they are all saying, Hi, thank you. For in this moment I am alive. Their function is secured, their operation continuous. Ecstatic revelation is ours to share.

For being alive.

Thinking about the period of time we each were in our mom's womb. Thinking of floating in this inner space of water, of calm, relatively speaking. Gestation, growing, nurturing. It is the song of life we are singing. It has always been and always will be this way. Otherwise we perish. We have three and a half billion years of evolution, increasing complexity. It is in flowing, glowing, in the resonating energy of creation. It is the oneness spoken. It is everywhere. It is under one's feet and one's hands and on the end of one's nose. It is just being here now. In this moment, peace, calm, harmony, grace. Allowing all. Feeling one's whole body quivering with grace. Allowing oneself to feel the undulations of one's blood as it rises and falls. On its journey through one's arteries and veins, there is a commotion going on. Feeling this now. It is a call to action from wherever you might be, to join. To consider a few moments of ecstasy, of humble, thankful participation and gratitude, to thine own self be true. Allowing oneself to be whom we are, deeper than just one's ego, allowing one's ego to make more room for what's inside, to develop more virtuosity, wisdom, and experience in whatever one does, what we do.
