Seek and you shall find, listen and you will hear, attempt to reason and your abilities to think will increase, gain perspective and truth will become more clear.

It is simple really, the foundation of Life can be the starting point of one's own self illumination.  Where else better to begin than where you already have an inkling of something going on, i.e. "you exist!"

Linger and contemplate your own be-ing, it is where everything begins......

Ommmmm.... This is a call to one's inside, to one's lungs, one's heart, one's torso, one's whole body becomes energized in humming. It's why many have recommended humming as a way of coming into a greater sense of realization with one's own being, to be more aware, to help one awaken more, be more alive. These are good things. We're here on this gift of a planet with all its abilities to sustain life. And yet, most of the time, it seems too many people are taking it for granted, forgetting the very basics of life itself. Finding our time together to be special, as every moment actually is, is a beginning to furthering one's own inquiry of being interested in self-improvement. These are great goals, aspirations for one to assume and to work toward. Every day is an opportunity for our own self-improvement. Eighty-six thousand four hundred moments we have to further our cause. It's a lot. A lot can be done. We are usually our greatest impediment, our greatest obstacle. We need to be aware of this and how can we smooth out our day, our moments in time by being more aware of them, by having a greater control over what we do, what we think, what we say, how we act. Being here now, feeling oneself to be a bundle of miracles, with all these capabilities we possess, our five senses, our hints at more, our ability to distinguish colors, our sense of sight, our ability to distinguish sound and all its variances, our ability to distinguish touch, taste, smell, not taking anything for granted, wanting to just become more aware of what's going on, gazing into the distance toward the sun, toward the clouds, the moon in the sky above this planet, as it rotates a thousand miles an hour, as it hurtles in an elliptical orbit around our sun. Our sun and our planets revolve in an elliptical orbit around the center of our galaxy. There's lots going on. And to add to these different motions, the one wherein we're moving away from the Great Bang is another. We have four different motions being carried out simultaneously. The planets turning, the planet revolving around the sun, the sun and planets revolving around the galaxy, and the whole galaxy being pushed away from this momentous event. Isn't this enough in itself to bring oneself to a moment in one's day where we say to ourselves, Wow? Are we really part of all this? Are we actually born upon a world? One amongst trillions of worlds, one where life like ours can exist.

It is humbling to expand one's perception, one's perspective, and it is our goal.

It is a genuine sought-after aspiration to have this feeling of humility. Because it helps us. This virtue helps us to understand our own limitations and where we might gain from being open-minded to what may be, but which prior to this moment we didn't think might be. This is open-mindedness. This is being receptive. You see, these different virtues play into each other. They are foundational, they are structural, they are pillars upon which to build more. If one finds themselves humbled, then one has the ability to look up and say, wow, okay, let me try this. Or let me think about this to have a better sense, a greater sense of understanding. Maybe a light goes on in one's head and we find ourselves having a greater sense of empathy and compassion about others, or even our own being, of whom and what we are. Maybe we exhibit a sense of kindness and generosity to ourselves and to others because of our greater perspective in how we are viewing our world. Being here now, bundles of miracles from a long road of evolution that covers three and a half billion years. I find it interesting there are religions that say the world is only six thousand years old, and wonder why one need to limit oneself to this characterization. And yet there is room for everyone to think in their own way. Although I think common sense dictates something different than this belief. That is my opinion. I think it's best if we all examine our closely held and those that aren't as closely held thoughts to better examine our own subjectivity, our own sense of perhaps making judgments where we shouldn't be, where we might be following in the footsteps of ancestors of our civilization, of our customs, of our cultures, even of our institutions, wherein they are propagating half-truths, misrepresentations of what actually is and has been occurring. I think we need to be more aware. I think that's the thesis of self-realization of mindful meditation is to become more open and aware of what's going on. The world is literally at our fingertips today. One having internet access can inquire almost about anything and get an answer of some sort. Maybe not enough. Maybe a beginning for one to research further in different ways. It is a conundrum. Mankind gets so involved and busy in the minutiae of details of our twenty first century, we forget the greater dynamics of what's going on. Being here now, a bundle of miracles, humbled by our perspective, thankful to have a part and an opportunity to be in this grand play of life. The music's continuing for another minute. Enjoy this incredible day.
