isn't this the Goal we share (?)

it is in our Effort we grow, in any way one looks at this or perceives,

Speaker

Good morning. Nice to be here. Nice to be able to speak, to hear, to see, feel. We take so much for granted when we should take nothing for granted because there is an opportunity to celebrate. Once we reach a majority of thinking, once we have a grasp on our universe, at least to some degree, to some extent, to be aware, is an incredible miracle of evolution. All these events having occurred over what we call the last fourteen billion years have culminated in this moment, being aware. Mindful meditation is being mindful and in a state where one is relaxed enough, open-minded enough to accept and be receptive to what one is thinking, to being able to evaluate in a non-judgmental, in a witnessing manner, objectively, what's occurring mentally inside of oneself and all about oneself. Being here now means just what we've just said. To be present in one's consideration of what's occurring. It's sometimes looked upon with a degree of anxiety. What do they mean? What does he mean or she mean when they say that? Being here now. It just means being present, being focused upon this moment rather than the past or the future. Being aware of now. A bundle of miracles. Well, that could be to someone's mind a stretch. What do you mean by calling me a bundle of miracles? Well, we just spoke of evolution. Fourteen billion years culminating into today, to now, to this moment, where we are, where we have joined together in a union of some sort. This is miraculous in itself. It need not be something complicated or grandiose to be a miracle. Miracles are in everything and everywhere. Thinking about this is a great way to ponder one's own mysteries. A great subject for mindful meditation. Humbled. Humbled meaning one's perspective is wide enough to have an extended view on our life on this planet, on the past, the present, and the potential the future offers. This is a beginning of an expansion of one's own reasoning, of one's own perception of reality as we are presented with it. And there are lots of influences and eddies and currents and flowing and pausing circumstances occurring simultaneously across the face of this world and in its interior and in the atmosphere's exterior in every sequential moment of time. It is the cacophony of energy occurring in everything in every way of time. It is just the nature of our universe. When one takes this thought or thoughts into considerations and takes it in a certain direction, one can begin to see it is an extraordinary thing to find a world revolving in a solar system around a sun in such a place, in such a way, there is an opportunity for life to form. It's not so far away from the sun that it's freezing cold, it's not too close to be burning hot. It's in a sweet spot, we can say. And all of the space around us, the ninety-three million miles from ourselves to the surface of our sun, for instance, is a distance within which what is occurring? What is happening as these particles of energy are moving from the sun's surface to our atmosphere? If we consider the atmosphere of our world as our placenta, as our womb, it's a reasonably good idea. But go beyond just our world and continue, both nearby and farther away. What do we discover in our journey? But more space. We as witnesses pass the planets in their order Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, etc. Viewing them as we pass by, looking at them for what they represent, different varying degrees of energization, and then look back upon the earth. Once having navigated through our solar system, then looking beyond. Where is the next star for us to head toward? And how far is the distance? Is it Alpha Centauri? Is it now light years away? The point of this is to help have this idea sink in. The energy of life, the energy of the melting pot of this world to foster energy creation or life itself, is an incredible thing just in this, that we are here and we are alive. This is a perspective we can share. And having come this far, then we have this opportunity to complete a picture by being thankful for what we have, for what we are. It is a viewpoint, an opinion. It is a capacity to think and to learn, to be open-minded. It is why mindful meditation is so important for us to embrace, reach out, and to better understand in all directions, not just one or two, but in every which of way we can, as witnesses, open-minded, each in one's own way a scientist, seeking knowledge, seeking to learn. Who better for you to be considering in one's analysis, in one's exploration, investigation, than one's own activities, one's own being here? Now, this bundle of miracles we're speaking about you and me. Where do you have a better potential of having a meaningful opportunity to help foment, direct, guide positive changes inside and outside in the greater environment of our families, our friends, our co-inhabitants of this world? This is the reason behind mindful meditation. Thinking about these things are a gateway, a way of unlatching the gate and inviting oneself in. We make this invitation out of virtues, out of concepts. It's not on a piece of paper. It is in our hearts. It is in the openness of one's soul. It is in the way that one treats oneself to be able to go forward. If you are constantly stepping on your own feet, with negativity, for instance, how well will you proceed? Haltingly at best. Maybe not at all. Maybe you'll quit and give up. There is always a choice one makes. Not can make. one makes! No matter what one thinks. We are making decisions in every moment of our life. It may not be cataclysmic, but nonetheless the decisions are being made. Because one is pursuing the next moment already. And the last moment is already in the past. Remembering we are here now. No matter what, we cannot escape this sense of time. It is part of the fabric of our universe. Bundles of miracles, similarly, it is in the design of the universe of what we are. It is inconceivable to not be the miracles we're talking about. Now it comes to a position in time where one can discuss what it means to have a sense of humility, to have a wide enough perspective to view oneself, our world, civilizations, our solar system, our universe, in a non-judgmental, witnessing, objective way. And to come to what conclusions? Positive ones is what I am suggesting, which is in what my opinion says is the best way to view our world. This is my subjectivity of the immensity of creation, considering everything one can consider, and coming to terms with it in a positive way. Humbled by the immensity of creation, thankful to be aware. And it's just the beginning of the next moment from here. My suggestion is listening to the music, which is continuing for another minute, and ponder these things. And humbly I ask you to spread the word in your own way through your own actions, through the brightness of one's own wisdom in the way you perceive, and the way you act within the context of this world, in every way one can imagine, toward all people.
