you don't need me to say this, but it helps to have someone remind us of what we "should be thinking!"

It is this Way in many things, simple things, of varying importance, yet

adding them all up together         is

one's Life.

All of a sudden, the common, the mundane becomes relevant...

for it is in each of these moments our lives flow,          how (?)

is up to you

whatever whomever however remember the preciousness you are,

it is a gift to be appreciated

Good morning. It's really such an incredible world. It goes up, it goes down, it goes back and forth. It goes every which way. This is the nature of reality. This is the nature of energy, and therefore the nature of our beings, of our own view, our own perspective on our universe. In a conversation we're having with another person, we are conveying something we want to share. We think the person understands what we're saying, has a sense of our nuances as we communicate. A ctually there is a greater or lesser extent of communication. It is in the moment, it is in that presence that this is going on. This energy is being shared. But do the communicators have the same symbology, the same background, the same environment that their day has already begun in? Are their eyes the same, or their ears, or their nose, or their extrasensory perceptions, or are they different? Kind of funny. I was just looking on the television. It started showing these snowflakes, and they were like, okay, wow, you know, wow, such geometry, form, such shapes. And it then intimated that each one was different, each one unique, like you and I. And the wow went from "to awe." It is in this way. We propel ourselves with our own energy to practice, to have experiences, where we begin with knowledge and end up with awe. We can help ourselves also accomplish this by breathing in awe. Making a concerted effort, making it a practice or exercise to consider one's own breathing, one's own technique of inhaling, pausing, exhaling, and pausing again. A complete four part breath. My opinion. And as one inhales long and slowly through one's nostrils, feeling the air as it's passing through the rim of your nose, both sides, left and right. And further, as it's flowing through one's nasal cavities, making oneself an objective witness and following what's going on. And it may take a part of several breaths to really fully acclimate what we are doing, of honing our focus and concentration. And this is good. We are winnowing down the differences. We are making a more fine aperture of evaluating, recognizing just what we're considering. And through one's rear of one's mouth and Larynx, windpipe, upper and lower lobes of one's lungs, following the air as it makes its way down. On an inhale, And this is done through one's nostrils, and then pause. Pause just for a few seconds, one or two, at least, you know, to recognize what we're doing. To say hello to oneself. You can even be proactive and say a affirmation, i.e., I AM curiosity, joy, patience, kindness, compassion. One can say this objectively, with self respect, friendship. One can do this. This is legitimate. This is real. add Thank you, Humble. Now we're going to breathe out through our mouth. Ah, back to that. And as we're breathing out this volume of air from our lower and upper lungs up through our windpipe by our Larynx, the rear of our throat, we choose a different direction for the air. We stream it through our mouths, over our tongues, glistening with moisture, through our lips. Sound above or a humming beneath the threshold of verbalization. Aren't we so smart and capable? We are. With the sound of "awe," either above or beneath the threshold of sound. One feels, which is the most important part, the vibration in one's chest, in one's throat, in one's head. It is a massage one is giving themselves. As we say awe and pause at the bottom. For again, a moment or two, one or two, in recognition of one's awareness of this life crucial process. It is this simple. It is us whom are unaware. For everything is a reflection of the infinite. You need not do anything, just ask your soul. Having this, one is whole. Just allowing it to be, being receptive to one's own being. This is what practice is for. Sensitize oneself. Help make one more receptive. Be a witness unto your own thinking, your own activity, actions, being, actions as they proceed. And modifying this... yoga, which is a great spiritual tradition, practice, speaks of itself. The definition of yoga is to harness, like harnessing oxen, right? Or the reins of a horse. Guiding oneself through one's activities, one's thinking is what we're talking about. Mindful meditation. Breathing is a part. And to nurture one's practice, one needs positivity, not negativity. One needs positivity. How does one get positivity? You can do it by creating awe in your being in a sense of reverence and amazement. To feel in such a way is to find water welling in your eyes because of the depth it means for you. Being here now, presently. Thankful to be alive, humbled, before our silliness, before our foolishness, before our ignorance and naivete, and before all the greatness that we share, all the capabilities, all the successes mankind has created. And there are many, more positive than negative. And yet I think each will agree there is more to be done. For today, practice your breathing techniques, being aware, is most important. You want to breathe in a count of four or five or six, even with practice, seven and eight. Comfortable though, long and slow, through one's nostrils, deep and long. But you need to be comfortable throughout one's whole process of breath. It is the cohesion of all four together. Where are you now that you have done your second pause? Are you in awe? This is our goal. It is not a contest. It is one's soul. Considering using affirmations in the pauses in between the actions, the activity, the heat producing thermal energy we are aware of. The textures of our skin, the pulsing, as the heat is moving through your radiator, your body, your circulatory system. You're warming it all up, or spreading it out, or dissipating the heat. Just words describing this flowing momentum that's occurring. Being aware of one's pulse anywhere. Opposite wrist crease, under one's thumb, radial artery, or just because you have grown accustomed to one's practice or awareness to be alive of this undulation that's occurring. It is everywhere, it is all the time. Again, remembering with these thoughts of how often we aren't here. No one's home. You're out and about, you're journeying. Mentally, I'm talking about. And on one's exhale through one's mouth with a sense of reverence, a sense of amazement. Where was the air we're breathing now a month ago or a year? Was it in Kentucky? Was it in Saudi Arabia or Nigeria? Where, thinking about what we're doing is our practice. And learning to increase and create tools for ourselves, either the physical awareness we've been speaking about, or, and a sense of wanting to plant seeds of encouragement or affirmation inside of ourselves to gain an awareness of, a receptivity towards, accumulating virtues, qualities, characteristics we can use for self-improvement, for improving whom we are in the context of everything, ourselves, our close families, our friends, yes? All. Because one is radiating energy all the time. What you are thinking is being shared. Your health, your mind, your spirit, everything is being broadcast through one's energy all of the time. What do you think it is when one is tired? It is a message. What do you think it is when one is ebullient ? It is a message. Be here now. Bundles of miracles, humble and thankful. The music's continuing for another minute. Ponder, please reinforce and deepen one's resolve, one's practice. It is for all day, not just for this moment.
